It’s not a conversation that would probably happen on public social media (or in person), but for the types of people who need a “trigger” warning for DEI-B, I’m very curious what is they view as the virtue of the obverse concepts for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

• the opposite of diversity is monolithic
• the opposite of equity is bias
• the opposite of inclusion is exclusion
• the opposite of belonging is alienation

I wonder what is the virtue and moral high ground for a worldview that values a monolithic culture, which disenfranchises, excludes, and alienates people from its system, markets, or communities?
